Germanwings Airbus A319 

Germanwings is to launch a new route from Ireland West Airport to Cologne/Bonn as part of it’s expanded Summer 2014 schedule. The carrier is launching new routes from Hamburg to Toulouse, Stuttgart to Nápoles, Berlín/Tegel to Valencia, Hamburg to Bergen ,Cologne/Bonn to Ireland West Airport Knock.

The service will be operated by 144 seat Airbus A319 aircraft operating weekly from Saturday 31st March to 26th October. 4U390 departs Cologne-Bonn 1240 arrives Ireland West Airport Knock 1340 and 4U391 departs Ireland West Airport Knock 1415 arriving back in Cologne/Bonn at 1715.

It’s understood the new service will replace the existing Dusseldorf weekly service operated by Eurowings CRJ900s.

Germanwings has been operating a seasonal summer service from Dublin to Cologne since 2004.
