Flybe DHC8-400 
Flybe announced a new connection from Ireland West Airport Knock to Birmingham route from 27th October operating four times weekly using DHC8-Q400s is Flybe’s third service from Ireland West in addition to existing services to Edinburgh and Manchester.

Fybe’s Head of PR Niall Duffy said said “Flybe is absolutely delighted to launch this new route to Birmingham, commencing October 27th. Given that we are already the biggest airline at Birmingham airport, when we learnt of the opportunity to offer the route it was an obvious and natural extension to our network. We look forward to welcoming thousands of new passengers onto the service and are pleased to be able to step into the breach.”

Ireland West Airport Knock Managing Director Joe Gilmore said “We are delighted to welcome today’s announcement by Flybe to operate a new Birmingham service. Our Birmingham service has long been one of our most established routes from the airport with over 50,000 passengers using the services each year. Today’s announcement highlights Flybe’s commitment to serving the people of the West & North West of Ireland, providing vital connectivity to key markets in the UK and Scotland.”
