Cork Airport 27 February, hosted the first visit of a Gulfstream 800, the world’s longest range business aircraft. The aircraft registered N880WT (MSN 88008) was build in 2025 formerly registered N808GD.

The Gulfstream 800, has a range of 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 kilometres) at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nm (12,964 km) at its high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90. The aircraft can also fly 8,000 nm (4,816 km) at Mach 0.87. In addition, the G800 maximum operating speed increased from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935.

The G800 features a low cabin altitude of 2,840 feet/866 meters when flying at 41,000 ft (12,497 m). The aircraft also features 100% fresh, never recirculated air; a plasma ionization purification system; and the lowest cabin altitude in the industry, and 16 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows. The G800 cabin can be configured with up to four living areas with seating for up to 19 passengers and sleeping space for up to 10.
