Emerald Airlines Welcomes 16th ATR72-600 - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, has taken delivery of its 16th ATR72-600 aircraft on lease from AerCap, the world’s largest global aircraft lessor.

Planespotters.net data reveals OE-IHG ATR72-212A(600) msn 1069 was delivered Dinard-Dublin-Belfast City on 29 April. The aircraft re-registered as G-CMMN to Emerald Airlines UK on 5 May. This aircraft operated its first revenue service 11 May from Belfast City to Leeds as EAG76LG/67FT.

This aircraft was formely Irish registered as EI-FSN to GECAS from September 2018 to October 2019.

Emerald Airlines is take delivery of one further ATR72-600 in 2023 expanding its fleet to a tota of 17 aircraft.
