ITA Airways has expanded its fleet with the delivery of its 15th Irish Airbus A220-300. The aircraft, registered EI-TEE (msn 55428), the aircraft routed directly from Montréal-Mirabel to Rome Fiumicino on 5-6 March 2026. This is the last A220-300 to join ITA Airways fleet, bringing their total to 19 with average age of 1.7 years old, including 15 new production aircraft and four former Azimuth aircraft.

Configured in a two-class, 149-seat layout, the A220-300 is optimised for domestic and short- to medium-haul European operations. The type offers a range of up to 3,450nm (6,390km) and delivers approximately a 25% reduction in fuel burn and CO₂ emissions per seat compared with previous-generation short-haul aircraft.
