Dublin-based Avia Solutions Group has acquired four Boeing 737 aircraft for Indonesia based carrier BBN Airlines. The carrier will add one Boeing 737-400F and three Boeing 737-800 aircraft for delivery in March to strengthen the airline’s position in the Indonesian aviation sector as part of its strategic plan to grow the carrier to 40 aircraft by 2027.

This is a part of the strategic expansion of the parent company, Avia Solutions Group, in the Asia-Pacific region, where the company is currently making significant investments.

BBN Airlines Indonesia Chairman Martynas Grigas said, “With the addition of these aircraft, we are very confident that we can increase the number of load factors and also be able to open new routes in the future. By early 2024, BBN Airlines Indonesia already has six aircraft in total, and the addition of these fleets is a significant step in developing our fleet to meet the demands of the growing market.”

Avia Solutions Group  is the world’s largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) provider with a fleet of 199 aircraft , operating on all continents across the globe.
