Delta Airlines resumed its New York JFK to Dublin route (DAL44/5) effective from Thursday 5th August operating three times weekly, increasing to five times weekly from 1st September.
The resumed service on 5th August was operated by N836MH Boeing 767-432(ER) MSN 29709. This week flights where operated by a mix of Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A330-300 aircraft reflecting demand on the route.
According to FIightradar24 a Boeing 767-300(ER) is planned to operate the service on Saturday 21st August.
Delta’s Managing Director – International Network Planning Amy Martin said “The re-opening of Irish borders to U.S. tourists will bring families and friends together once more and further supporting economic recovery from the global pandemic. Ireland has always been one of our most popular European destinations, with convenient connections to the capital from 40 cities across the U.S. via our New York-JFK hub.”
Delta Airlines has yet to formally indicate a date to resume Dublin to Atlanta and Boston services.
