Irish ACMI specialist CityJet took delivery of a Mitsubishi CRJ-900ER, registered EI-JAD (msn 15261), on 12 February 2026 named “Byrge Viking”. The aircraft is operated on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines under a wet lease agreement and will be based in Copenhagen Airport (CPH), entering service on 18 Febuary to Vilnius (VNO) as SK744/5.
According to fleet tracking websitePlanespotters.net, the CRJ900 t was originally delivered to Estonia Air in January 2011 as ES-ACB. Between 2011 and 2021 the aircraft was operated by a number of Estonian carriers, Regional Jet, Nordica and Xfly.
CityJet is a key wet lease partner for SAS, supporting the Scandinavian carrier’s regional network with its fleet of CRJ900 and CRJ1000 aircraft.
