Romanian airline Blue Air latest Boeing 737 addition to the fleet, YR-BAR Boeing 737-4Q8 construction number 25371 ex N707DB operated its first revenue flight to Dublin Airport on 24th December 2013.

YR-BAR is on lease from Irish aircraft lessor Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services (AWAS) and  retains the basic colours of it’s previous operator Sky Airlines.

According to Dutch aviation website Skyliner Aviation the aircraft operated on Christmas Eve (24th December) BMS155/6 Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport to Dublin and onwards to Stuttgart Airport, before returning to Bucharest.

Blue Air operates schedule services from Dublin Airport Terminal 1 to Bacau (George Enescu Airport) and Bucharest (Otopeni) twice weekly. The airline operates a fleet of eight Boeing 737-300/400/500s.
