Avion Express LY-VEU Airbus A319 construction number 1263 leased from GECAS, based at Dublin Airport for Summer 2013 season operating on behalf of Thomas Cook to a number of European sun destinations.
LY-VEU departed Dublin to Keflavik on Sunday 22nd September at 1458 local as NVD9705 to begin an new wet-lease contract with Havana based Cubana Airlines.
The aircraft subsequently returned to Europe. Dutch Aviation website www.skyliner-aviation.de reported LY-VEU was ferried on 25th October Lille-Kelfavik-Montreal on new wet-lease to Cubana Airlines.
The carrier is a wet lease specialist based in Vilnius operates a fleet of seven Airbus A320 Family aircraft two A319s and five A320s.
