ASL Aviation Group expands its Irish based Air Contractors fleet © - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute
EI-STB Boeing 737-476F shortly after arriving in Dublin 

In response to growing customer demand the ASL Aviation Group announced it has purchased four Boeing 737-400 Freighters, allocating three aircraft to it’s Irish based airline Air Contractors, with the company selecting Aeronautical Engineers Inc to provide three Boeing 737-400SF 11 Pallet Configuration Freighter Conversions. The aircraft are all ex Qantas Airways high gross weight Boeing 737-400’s.

Mr. Robert T. Convey Vice President of Sales & Marketing said  “We are honored that the ASL Aviation Group has selected AEI’s B737-400SF 11 Pallet Conversion for their fleet expansion,  we are pleased to welcome the ASL Aviation Group into the Aeronautical Engineers family of operators”.

The first aircraft EI-STB Boeing 737-476F c/n 24440 ex N116BT /VH-TJO was registered on 27th September and delivered 29-30th September Miami-Gander-Dublin.

The acquistion enables ASL Group grow the Boeing 737-400 Freighter fleet to seven aircraft,  Europe Air Post acquired F-GZTI Boeing 737-408 (SF) c/n 25063 and F-GZTJ Boeing 737-4S3 (SF) c/n 25595.
