Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has redelivered the sixth B737-400SF 11 Pallet freighter to the ASL Aviation Group to be operated by Air Contractors. The fifth freighter to deliver is a high gross weight B737-400SF (MSN 25181) built in 1992. The conversion was carried at AEI’s Authorized centre , Commerical Jet Inc in Miami, Florida.

The aircraft was delivered Miami-Pease International Tradeport-Keflavik to Shannon on 3rd December as N288AL, and was registered as EI-STF on 5th December. The aircraft positioned Shannon to Belgrade on 6th December.

President of AEI Mr Roy Sandri stated “Delivering the sixth conversion makes us feel very proud at AEI. It clears shows that our uncompromising pursuit for excellence pays off. It is gratifying when the working relationship is as partners. I want to thank ASL Group for enabling this”.

This aircraft first flight was on 12th January 1992 and delivered to Turkish Airlines as TC-JDG on 3rd February leased from GECAS, and remained in service with them until withdrawn from use on 17th February 2013.

It was registered as N288AL on 25th June 2013 to Bank of Utah Trustee.
