ASL Airlines (Ireland) has taken delivery of EI-DAC msn 29938 Boeing 737-8AS(BCF) for operation of behalf of Amazon Prime Air. The aircraft positioned Shannon to Leipzig on 6th November.
Following BCF modification N541CC was ferried Shanghai-Kansai International-Anchorage-Paine Field-Bangor-Shannon on 16 to 18th October 2020 in Prime Air colours to become EI-DAC pre-service work.
The Boeing 737-800 has become a staple among express and short-haul cargo haulers, with its 24-ton payload and flight range of 2,000 nautical miles. The aircraft are well suited for high-frequency runs required for express operations.
