American Airlines resumes seasonal Dublin to Chicago route - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

US network carrier American Airlines resumed Dublin to Chicago O’Hare route effective 6 June to 28 October 2024 operating daily using two class 242 seat Boeing 787-8 Deamliner aircraft following suspension for winter season on 28 October 2023.

N815AA Boeing 787-8 msn 40633 operated the service AAL208/9 on 5 June.

American Airlines operates year-round daily services from Dublin to its hubs in Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW) and Philadelphia (PHL) using Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft and seasonal service to Chicago O’Hare hub.

As part of the trans-Atlantic joint business between Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Finnair. Aer Lingus code-shares on American Airlines from Dublin enabling access to more than 200 US destinations via the AJB network.
