Hawaiian Islands based carrier Aloha Air Cargo took delivery in Honolulu on 7 September of N440KH Boeing 737-490(F) msn 28889 the aircraft was formerly registered as EI-GUB operated by Italian carrier cargo carrier Poste Air Cargo.

According to Planespotters.net the aircraft first flight in February 1998 and delivered to Alaska Airlines same month as N795AS and withdrawn from use in September 2017. The aircraft was delivered to Flair Airlines in December 2017 as C-FLHE and underwent cargo conversion in Tampa 2020-2021 taking up temporary registration N889AU for Automatic LLC in August 2020. The aircraft was delivered in January 2021 to Poste Air Cargo as EI-GUB operated till July 2025.

Aloha Air Cargo operates a fleet of 6 Boeing 737 freighters and is under the Saltchuck Aviation umbrella alongside Northern Air Cargo, Ryan Air Alaska, and StratAir.
