In an Linkedin post UCD Business Alumni announced AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly will be honoured with the prestigious UCD Alumni Awards 2024 for Business.
Aengus, a chartered accountant with a Commerce degree and a Master’s in Accounting from University College Dublin has been leading AerCap since 2011. Under his leadership, AerCap became the world’s largest aviation leasing company, including a landmark €25bn acquisition of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) in 2021. Most recently, Aengus was named Global CEO & Industry Leader of the Year at the Aviation 100 Awards 2024.
The UCD Alumni Awards celebrate outstanding achievement across various fields at a black-tie ceremony in O’Reilly Hall.
