Aer Lingus announced it carried 734,000 passengers in December up 7.2% carrying 76,000 long-haul passengers up 13.4% with a load factor of 77.7% up 6.1% on an 4.5% increase in capacity , its revenue per long-haul passenger increased by 13.3% and in short-haul it carried 575,000 passengers up 3.4% with a load factor of 66.6% up 0.7% on an 2.5% decrease in capacity its revenue per short-haul passengers declined by 1.5%.
Aer Lingus Regional carried 83,000 passengers in December up 33.9% and a total of 1.01 million passengers for the year.
The airline carried a total of 10.663 million passengers in 2012 up 3.8%.
