The Aer Lingus M & E Department is celebrating 50 years of the engineering apprenticeship scheme.
To mark the occasion, and as part of “The Gathering Ireland 2013”, an official event will take place in Croke Park in early March to bring together as many as possible of the 850 former apprentices since the scheme first began in 1962.
The committee behind the event are trying to contact as many of these apprentices as possible and further information about the event can be found on The Gathering website, www.thegatheringireland,com , or emailing apprentices50@gmail.com.
