Aer Lingus has commenced a new charter series between Belfast City Airport and Verona on behalf of tour operators Topflight and TUI. The service EIN4412/13 operates on Saturdays on specific dates using Airbus A320 equipment, on these dates of operation service to Malaga does not operate.
Aer Lingus launched a weekly Saturday charter series from London Gatwick to Verona on 17th May 2014 , the first service was operated by EI-EDP Airbus A320. At times of going to press details were not available of tour operator service is being operated.
Aer Lingus stated a key part of it’s strategy is to grow market share in charter market “Aer Lingus gained market share in both long and short haul from LCCs, legacy, regional & charter carriers.”
Aer Lingus has added additional capacity on a charter routes this year, following news Thomas Cook Group, terminated all its Irish summer charter operations from 30th April 2014.
