Aer Lingus has taken delivery of a former Qatar Airways Airbus A330-302 MSN 893 formerly registered as A7-AEM. The aircraft was delivered Châteauroux to Dublin on 16th March as QTR8171 touching down just before 1800 hours local.

The aircraft was registered as EI-EIL on 17th March named “St. MacDara” and is in a two class configuration with 30 Premier and 275 economy class seats powered by GE CF6-80E1A4 engines.

The aircraft is presently stored in Dublin awaiting entry to service. 

Aer Lingus is currently operating its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on routes from Dublin to Boston (weekly), Chicago, London Heathrow (once daily EIN178/179) and New York JFK and ad-hoc cargo charters to destinations in United States.
