Ryanair has revealed the top five destinations across its industry-leading network of more than 235 destinations that are attracting the strongest passenger demand for 2026, underlining continued appetite for affordable city breaks, secondary airports and emerging markets.

Bratislava, Slovakia

Bratislava is rapidly establishing itself as one of Europe’s most compelling city break destinations. With its compact medieval Old Town, striking castle overlooking the Danube and easy access to neighbouring capitals, the Slovak capital blends rich history with a modern, youthful atmosphere. Strong demand suggests passengers are increasingly looking beyond traditional Central European hubs.

Gdańsk, Poland

The jewel of Poland’s Baltic coast is set for a standout year in 2026, supported by Ryanair’s record 43-route schedule. Gdańsk’s picturesque Old Town, waterfront setting and deep maritime heritage continue to resonate with both leisure travellers and VFR traffic, reinforcing Poland’s position as a key growth market within Ryanair’s network.

Pescara, Italy

Italy remains one of Europe’s most compelling aviation markets, and Pescara is emerging as a clear winner. Located on the Adriatic coast, the city offers attractive beaches, a relaxed lifestyle and cultural cachet as the birthplace of poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. Demand highlights Ryanair’s ability to drive traffic to regional Italian airports beyond the traditional tourism hotspots.

Rabat, Morocco

Rabat is set to shine brighter than ever in 2026, following the opening of Ryanair’s new two-aircraft base in April. Morocco’s historic capital offers coastal scenery, elegant architecture and a vibrant cultural scene, combining authenticity with accessibility. The strong booking trend underlines North Africa’s growing role in Ryanair’s expansion strategy.

Tirana, Albania

Albania’s capital continues its rise as one of Europe’s most talked-about emerging destinations. Tirana’s colourful streets, café culture and dramatic mountain backdrop, alongside landmarks such as Skanderbeg Square and Lake Tirana, are drawing travellers seeking value, sunshine and something different. Demand reflects Albania’s rapid transition from niche to mainstream market.
