MIAT Mongolian Airlines has wet-leased EI-MGL Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner msn 60326 to Bahrain based Gulf Air operating in their full colours. The aircraft positioned Ulaanbaatar (UBN) to Bahrain (BAH) on 12 December entering service on Bahrain (BAH) to Manila (MNL) route effective 14 December operating GFA154/5 daily service.
Gulf Air announced 18 November 2025, the airline has finalized a firm order for 15 787 Dreamliners with options for three more as the Bahrain-based carrier looks to further develop its international network. With 10 787 aircraft in service, the airline is well-positioned to grow its network, serving new and existing markets across Asia, Europe and the U.S.
