German aviation website reports Flydubai has taken delivery of its ninth new brand Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, registered A6-FPF (msn 60986). According to Flightradar24 the aircraft was delivered on 29 September directly from Boeing Field in Seattle, departing 1814 using flight number ‘FDB9741’ arriving in Shannon Airport next day 1 October at 1031 local time.
After a overnight stop at Shannon Airport, Ireland, the aircraft departed at 0627 to Dubai International Airport (DXB) , landing at 1713 local time. With three more 737 MAX 8s expected to be delivered before the end of the year, flydubai’s fleet will stand at more than 95 aircraft, supporting the carrier’s growing network of more than 135 destinations in 57 countries.
The 737 MAX fleet expansion continues to open up underserved markets, recently adding new non stop routes from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Chișinău (Moldova) and Iasi (Romania) and new strategic interline agreement with TAROM, creating more travel opportunities, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading global aviation hub.
