Flydubai has taken delivery of another Boeing 737-8 MAX, with the latest aircraft, registered A6-FQK (msn 61036), making a stop at Shannon Airport on its delivery route from the United States to the United Arab Emirates.
The aircraft departed from Boeing Field in Seattle and flew nonstop to Shannon, where it completed an overnight technical stop. It departed the following day for its final leg to Dubai International Airport (DXB).
A6-FQK marks the fifth 737 MAX delivery to Flydubai via Shannon this year. Previous deliveries include A6-FQE (msn 61027) on 5 April, A6-FQF (msn 61029) on 29 May, A6-FQH (msn 60991) on 13 June, and A6-FQG (msn 61031) on 25 June.
Flydubai remains the largest operator of the Boeing 737 MAX in the Middle East and GCC region, with a current fleet of 92 Boeing 737 aircraft. This includes 29 737-800 Next-Generation models, 62 737 MAX 8s, and three 737 MAX 9s. The airline operates to more than 125 destinations across 54 countries, continuing to expand its network and fleet as part of its strategic growth plans.
