ITA Airways has officially welcomed its tenth Airbus A220-100 to its fleet, with the aircraft registered EI-MVF and bearing the serial number 50082. The new addition, which was delivered on December 22, routed from Montréal-Mirabel directly to Rome Fiumicino.
The Airbus A220-100, configured with 125 seats, is the smallest aircraft in ITA Airways’ fleet. This delivery marks another significant milestone for the carrier as it continues to modernize its fleet with the highly efficient and versatile A220 family. In addition to the newly delivered aircraft, ITA Airways has two more A220-100s on order, bringing the total number to twelve.
The airline has also expanded its A220 fleet with 11 A220-300s, part of an order for 16 of the larger variant, further enhancing its network capabilities with a mix of the efficient A220 family models.
