MIAT Mongolian Airlines, the flag carrier of Mongolia took delivery of its second Irish Registered Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on 24 April in 292 seat configuration featuring 30 Business , 36 Premium Economy and 226 Economy class, on long-term lease from Dublin based aircraft lessor AerCap.

German website reports EI-UBN Boeing 787-9 msn 60322 MIAT Mongolian Airlines named ‘“Munkh Khaan” delivered from Haikou to Ulaanbaatar International Airport 24 April. This aircraft was formerly operated by Suparna Airlines as B-208C.

The carrier operates 787s on routes from Ulaanbaatar International to Frankfurt, Istanbul Seoul. Last year Mongolia and United States signed an Open-Skies Agreement providing the legal framework for nonstop passenger flights. Mongolia is the 132nd U.S. Open-Skies partner.
