Cityjet CRJ900

Dublin based ACMI specialist Cityjet completed the acquisition of its fifth CRJ1000 aircraft. EI-HIE msn 10910 routed Maastricht to Copenhagen 25 March 2024. The aircraft has capacity for 100 passengers powered by two General Electric CF34-8C5 engines with a range of 3,056km.

According to Planespotters.net the aircraft was delivered to Brit Air in 2011 as F-HMLF, subsequently operated by Air France, HOP, Air France Hop. In 2022 the aircraft was re-registered as F-WTAG to Jetcraft and later same year took up marks OE-LRJ registered to EIC Aircraft Leasing in Canada. The aircraft was delivered to Cityjet as EI-HID 22 March 2024.

CityJet operates its CRJ fleet on behalf of Lufthansa (Summer 24) and SAS Airlines also offers the aircraft in the wet lease and occasionally ad-hoc charter markets.
