 Germanwings based in Cologne the low-cost subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group is to re-introduce the Dublin to Cologne route for Summer 2013 re-commencing on 31st March to 27th October operating four times weekly using Airbus A319 equipment.

Germanwings operates a fleet of 32 Airbus A319 aircraft with a further six on order, a further 30 Airbus A320s are to be transferred from the parent company Lufthansa as the carrier is to take-over point to point flights operating from cities other than Frankfurt and Munich.
