Dublin Airport handled 2 million passengers in June up 6% on the same month last year with all market segments reporting positive growth.

Traffic to and from continental Europe increased by 6% to 1.1 million passengers on the same month last year and in the domestic market segment traffic was up 14% to 6,000 passengers.

International traffic, which includes flights to the Middle East and North Africa, increased by 6% with 45,000 passengers taking flights to and from these destinations.

The Transatlantic segment is leading growth up 18% to 18% to 212, 000 passengers.

Over 612,000 passengers took flights to and from the UK, a 2% increase on the same month last year.

In the first six months of the year over 9.5 million passengers have used Dublin Airport up 5%.
