 Irish entrepreneur Denis O’Brien has taken delivery of a brand new Gulfstream G650 M-GSIX c/n 6032 ex N932GA. The aircraft has a small tricolour on its tail fin. M-GSIX is replacing Gulfstream G550 M-YJBK c/n 5316 which is up for sale.

M-GSIX was delivered on Saturday 13th July from Gulfstream Aerospace HQ in Savannah, Georgia to Isle of Man to complete her paperwork before continuing to Dublin arriving at 1048 local.

The aircraft operated a local sortie to Cork Airport the same day departing 1128 staying on the ground in Cork for about 20 minutes, before taking off again to Dublin arriving back at 1255, becoming the first visit of a G650 to Cork.

The Gulfstream G650 list price is $65.5 million, carries eight passengers and a crew of four is powered by Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, is capable of cruising at Mach 0.85 at over 51,000 ft and has a maximum non-stop range of 7,000 Nautical Miles, the maximum specified speed for the G650 is Mach 0.925, which is almost the speed of sound.
