SmartLynx Airlines has based an Airbus A320-200 for Summer 2021 season operating on behalf of TUI Belgium following the lifting of non-essential restrictions on the 19th July and the formal adoption of the EU DCC to enable travel within the EU.
YL-LCS Airbus A320-214 MSN 0566 positioned Venice to Dublin on 18th July and operated a short local flight later the same day.
The aircraft is operating weekly sectors from Dublin to Corfu, Heraklion (HER), Lanzarote (ACE), Kos (KGS), Las Palmas (LPA) , Palma (PMI), Rhodes (RHO) and Zakynthos (ZTH).
BCT Aviation Maintenance announced 9th August it was contracted by SmartLynx Airlines to provide full Line Maintenance support for A320 in Dublin.
SmartLynx Airlines specializes in full-service ACMI aircraft lease services. It is a notable ACMI, charter and cargo operator in the European Union, providing its services on Airbus A320, A321 and A330 aircraft.
