EI-EDY Airbus A330-302 msn 1025 ‘St Munchin / Maincín’ Aer Lingus has been transferred to Aer Lingus UK as G-EIDY on 1st October at Dublin Airport.  The aircraft operated its last flight for Aer Lingus on 21 September as EIN104 from New York JFK.

Aer Lingus will boost its Manchester to Belfast schedule from once to twice daily with flight EIN302 from Belfast City to Manchester will be timed to connect with new Manchester to Barbados service.  The Manchester to Barbados route will operate three flights per week for the winter schedule commencing on 20th October.

Aer Lingus (U.K.) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aer Lingus headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland and based at Manchester Airport with a planned fleet of 2 Airbus A321LR’s and 2 Airbus A330-300s with routes commencing to Barbados effective from 20th October, New York JFK from 1st December and Orlando from 11th December. 

The airline plans to launch Manchester to Boston in summer 2022 using Airbus A321LR aircraft.

The carrier has been allocated IATA code EG and ICAO code EUK with callsign ‘Greenflight’.
