TAAG Angola Airlines has appointed APG as general sales agent (GSA) in Ireland, providing a full range of sales and marketing activities including agent support for TAAG  with effect from September 2022.

The carrier has a historic aviation connection with Ireland stemming from Guinness Peat Aviation (GPA) when the lessor leased D2-TBT Boeing 737-2L9 to the airline for one and half years during 1981 and 1982. The aircraft took up Irish registration EI-BMY prior to next lease to Air Europe.

In the late 1980s the carrier sent a pair Boeing 707s to Aer Lingus at Dublin Airport for heavy maintenance checks during summer period. The aircraft were D2-TOL Boeing 707-347C msn 19963 and D2-TOU Boeing 707-351C msn 18964.

Angola Airlines Boeing 747-357SCD TAAG Angola Airlines registered D2-TEB visited Dublin Airport for a heavy maintenance check with FLS Aerospace in January 2002.

In April 2018 D2-TEG Boeing 777-3M2(ER) msn 40805 TAAG Angola Airlines arrived in Shannon Airport for interior configuration work at IAC/Eirtech Aviation.
