Irish low cost carrier Ryanair transferred its sole Boeing 737-73S registered EI-SEV msn 29078 to its Polish subsidiary Buzz , re-registered as SP-RUM at London Stansted between 23 March and 2 April. Flightradar24 reveals the aircraft operated 3rd April from London Stansted to Glasgow Prestwick as RYS303.
According to Planespotters.net remarks aircraft will be operated as ‘Crew training & standby aircraft’.
At time of publication Buzz Base location is unknown.
In 2016 the carrier acquired the aircraft specifically for pilot training a regular visitor at East Midlands, Glasgow Prestwick and Shannon Airports, later launching a corporate jet charter service configured in 60 business class, reclining, leather seats with 2×2 configuration with a range of six hours flight time. In Winter 2018 the aircraft was made available to corporate & group hire market.
Since reconfiguration into 147 seat economy class the aircraft has been operated on schedule services on an ad-hoc/stand-by basis and training flights and on missions for new base and route announcements operating to Amman, Jordan and Tbilisi, Georgia in recent years.
