Irish LCC Ryanair based a second 197 seat Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft at Shannon Airport in an investment valued €100 million effective from 12 December, replacing one of existing Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

According to Flightradar24 data as of 24 December base aircraft are as follows EI-GXH Boeing 737-800 msn 44853, EI-HAT Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 msn 65076 and EI-HGN Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 msn 62327.

The Boeing 737 8-200 MAX ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft is fitted with 197 economy class seats 4% more than the 737-800 is configured with Boeing Sky Interior,  LED lighting and larger pivoting overhead stowage bins ,  delivering 16% lower fuel consumption per seat than the 737-800 aircraft , reducing fuel use and emissions by 20% percent while producing a 50% smaller noise footprint.
