The Ryanair Group is significantly expanding its Buzz subsidiary Polish network for the Winter 2026 season, with increased capacity, new routes and additional aircraft at Warsaw Modlin and Wroclaw, alongside an expanded schedule at Warsaw Chopin.

At Warsaw Modlin, the airline will add three aircraft, taking its based fleet to nine. The additional aircraft represent a $300 million investment, bringing Ryanair’s total investment in its Modlin base to $900 million. The carrier will operate 30 routes from Modlin, including 11 new services to Birmingham, Bratislava, Bristol, Budapest, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Manchester, Palma, Shannon, Stockholm and Zagreb.
Ryanair will also increase frequencies on seven existing Modlin routes, including Dublin, Madrid and Malta. The expanded schedule is expected to nearly double annual passenger traffic at Modlin to 3.2 million.

At Warsaw Chopin, Ryanair will operate 16 routes during Winter 2026, adding seven new destinations: Bari, Bologna, Catania, Liverpool, Naples, Turin and Venice. The airline expects to carry around 800,000 passengers annually from the airport, representing a 50% increase.
Ryanair will base nine aircraft at Wroclaw during Winter 2026, two more than in Winter 2025. The operation will support 1.3 million seats, an increase of 330,000 or 35% year on year. The Wrocław schedule includes four new routes to Madrid, Marrakesh, Tirana and Turin, alongside frequency increases on 15 existing services.

Ryanair said the latest expansion forms part of its broader investment in Poland, where it carries more than 24 million passengers annually to and from 13 airports using a fleet of 52 Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline says its Polish operations support more than 22,000 jobs across its Warsaw headquarters, Kraków Training Centre, Wrocław IT Centre, engineering facilities and six operational bases.
