Lufthansa Group carrier Discover Airlines announced the carrier will reinstate its Frankfurt Main to Shannon Airport service for Summer 2027. The service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays from 1 May to 24 October 2027, using 180 seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
The Discover Airlines fleet currently consists of 33 aircraft 15 Airbus A330-200/300 and 18 Airbus A320-200. From mid‑2027 onwards, a total of 13 Airbus A350‑900 aircraft will be gradually added to the fleet.
