Ryanair announced that it has carried over 7 million passengers through Belfast International Airport since it began operations to/from the airport a decade ago. This summer, Ryanair is operating 166 weekly flights across 15 routes to/from Belfast International Airport, including popular sun hotspots like Alicante, Lanzarote and Malta, as well as top city break destinations like Krakow, Milan and Porto.
Belfast International Airport’s CEO, Dan Owens said “Ryanair is a hugely valued partner for Belfast International Airport, delivering over 1000 jobs locally and $200m for the local economy, as well as offering choice and connectivity for the people of Northern Ireland and beyond. Ryanair is to be congratulated on serving over 7 million passengers for Northern Ireland since 2016. As we advance with our ongoing £100m upgrade of Belfast International Airport, significantly enhancing the customer experience, we’re delighted to be continuing to partner with Ryanair as we both grow together to serve the people of Northern Ireland.”
