ITA Airways has taken delivery of Airbus A321-271NXLR EI-HXH (c/n 12949), which was handed over at Hamburg-Finkenwerder and ferried to Rome Fiumicino on 12 May 2026 as flight AZA8021, arriving at 2154 local. The aircraft entered commercial service 15 May, operating the Rome Fiumicino–Brussels rotation as AZA156/159. The aircraft is configured with 165 seats in a three-classes: 12 Business Class seats, 12 Premium Economy seats and 141 Economy seats.
The A321LR’s are deployed from ITA’s Rome Fiumicino hub on domestic, medium and short-haul routes to Accra (ACC), Amsterdam (AMS), Athens (ATH), Barcelona (BCN), Brussels (BRU), Catania (CTA), Dakar (DSS), Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR), Madrid (MAD), Paris (CDG) and Palermo (PMO).
